I always knew that my career would involve making positive contributions to society on a daily. I never imagined that I would use my passion for photography as the means to contribute to our society and future generations to come.
I grew up immersed in photography. My mom had pictures everywhere. Formal pictures hung on the walls, events and school pictures were placed in albums, and she collected enough pictures from family and friends to fill boxes. Sears served as our family photographer at least twice a year, and my mom did the rest every chance she got. Her purpose was simple. It was to capture and preserve our memories so that we can relive them when we desire plus share them with those that we love. My mom also used pictures to keep the memories of deceased loved ones alive and make sure that we knew our family history. I love to watch my family view old photographs and hear their stories, laughter and life lessons. My mom does not take many pictures today, but her collection continues to grow… thanks to me.
I inherited my mother’s passion for photography, and it all clicked during my sophomore year in high school. I got a camera and started taking photography classes. POP Imagery was born my junior year in high school and I have had a camera in my hand for the past 20 years. I have preserved thousands of memories, including weddings, baby showers, birthdays, graduations, proms, corporate events, branding, parties and engagements, and even funerals. I am elated to have a career in which my sole mission is to capture my clients most precious moments and provide them with keepsakes that will last for generations to come.
POP Imagery’s mission is accomplished by achieving three goals with every client. The first is to provide a personalized photographic memory for every booking. Our consultation and pre-shoot communications will ensure you receive the look that you desire. Second, POP Imagery offers many options that will preserve your heirloom and allow you to easily share it with family and friends. We offer a plethora of options from displaying your memory on a canvas, in prints or in a photo album and even options to share your photographs electronically. We will also help you save them digitally so that they are yours forever. Lastly, our goal is to provide a fun and intimate activity for clients that will create additional beautiful memories. This goal provides short- and long-term benefits to all participants; after all everyone remembers picture day.
